The tread pattern is based on SCCT (Contour Stiffness Control Theory) technology, which, among other things, includes optimizing the tread-to-road contour, improving load distribution and reducing tire deformation when driving at high speeds. Three wide longitudinal channels and a branched network of lamellas reliably protect against aquaplaning, promptly removing water from the contact patch. The center of the tread of the SK 70 tire is specially designed to provide reliable grip on the road, which in turn improves acceleration dynamics and shortens braking distances. Shoulder blocks give the vehicle stability when driving in a straight line and when cornering.
The composition of the rubber compound is selected based on the latest generation LHHG (Low Heat-High Grip) compound, which minimizes energy costs for heating the rubber, increases grip on the road and reduces fuel consumption. The tread material, in accordance with the latest environmental safety requirements, practically does not contain PAH hydrocarbons, which reduces the harm caused to the environment during the production and operation of the SK 70.
